Frances E. Gettelfinger, 90, of Clarksville, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Frances was born May 8, 1934 in Corydon to the late Elmer and Charlotte Ledford. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. Frances was a talented baker, cake decorator, and organist, playing the organ at church for many years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Ledford.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Rex Gettelfinger; children, Alan Gettelfinger, and Diane Gettelfinger; sisters, Marabeth Thomas, and Margaret Smith; grandsons, Diane's sons, Joshua, Jeremy, and Noah.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville. Frances will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
