Freddie Tucker, 85, of Henryville, IN passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Tucker was born January 13, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. He was a 1960 Bremen High School graduate. He was a car inspector for the Norfolk Southern Railway Company. He enjoyed basketball, baseball, softball, hunting, and fishing in his early life and was an avid golfer and jogger in his later life.
He was preceded in death by his son Eddie Dean Tucker; parents John and Leta (Neil) Tucker; brothers, Bill Tucker, Ray Tucker, Wayne Tucker, and Whitey Tucker; sisters, Mary Helen Swift and Joyce Dean Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Mae (Johnson) Tucker; children, Fred (Lisa) Tucker, Jeffrey Wayne (Mary Lou) Tucker, Kimberly Susan (James) Jordan, Julie Ann (Ben) Combs, and Jonathan Eric (Jennifer) Tucker; grandchildren, Cameron (Jessica) Tucker, Jordan (Cherish) Tucker, Olivia Tucker, Fletch Tucker, Ryan Tucker, Adam Combs and Logan Combs; great-grandchildren Lydia Tucker; brother Jackie (Martha) Tucker; and sister Sharon Noffsinger.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021, with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
