Funeral services for Gerald G. "G.G." Harbin, 74, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.. He was retired from the Army Ammunition Plant. The family appreciates all the care he received while at Clark Memorial Hospital.. He is survived by his sons, Rick Harbin, of New Washington, and Tony Harbin, of Sellersburg; daughters, Sue Cole, of Marysville, and Sherry Schroerlucke, of Jeffersonville; brothers, Bobby Harbin, of New Albany, Darryl Harbin, of Jeffersonville, and Charles Harbin of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Krieger Harbin; parents, James and Beaetta Wainscott Harbin; and brothers, Donald and Lewis Harbin.. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
