New Albany, IN - Gregory A. "Gregg" Lawrence, 62, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.

He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Roy and Dorothy Lawrence. He was a Catholic and a graduate of the New Albany High School Class of 1980, and an alumnus of IU. Gregg was a painter, he loved to read, he was an avid Indiana Basketball, Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Reds fan, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lawrence.

Gregg is survived by his sons, Jeremy Lawrence (Jennifer), Kyle Lawrence (Megan) and Cory Pollard (Taryn); his daughter, Amanda Shepard (Steven); his brother, Jeffrey Lawrence; his sister, Jennifer Richards (Billy); and his grandchildren, Waylon, Weston, Lily, Kaelin, Madison and Emma.

A celebration of Gregg's life will be held at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home, 1846 E. Oak Street, New Albany, on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given in Gregg's memory to The Healing Place in Louisville, KY.
