Jeffersonville, Indiana - Helen Doris Crawford, our beloved matriarch, transitioned peacefully on April 12, 2026, at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born in Simpsonville (Montclair), Kentucky, Helen was the second eldest of four children born to the late Joseph Todd Sr. and Lillian S. (Jones) Todd.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Crawford of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her daughter, Latricia A. (Watts) Priest; and her grandson, Antoine Watts.

Her legacy of love continues through her children: Beverly J. Hinkle, Billy J. Watts (Mary), Vicky D. Watts, Connie F. Watts, Debora L. Taylor-Hicks, and Joanne Holbrook (Mark). She is also survived by her siblings, Willie F. Watts, Joseph Todd Jr., and Scotty R. Todd (Sheila); her devoted family friend and caretaker, Patricia A. Wilson; her cherished companion, June Boo Boo Crawford; and an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends near and far.

Funeral services will be held at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home on Monday, April 20, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service commencing at 1:00 p.m., conducted by members of her family. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest at Eastern Cemetery.

We are going to miss our girl, but we find comfort knowing she is resting in the arms of the Lord.
