New Albany, Indiana - Jack Lee Williams Sr., 89, passed away Tuesday at his home in New Albany, Indiana. Jack was born in New Albany to the late Millard Williams and Violet (Cox) Yarbrough and was a member of Central Christian Church. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, worked for a time as a ground radar engineer in Freeport Bahamas, was the owner of Jack of All Trades specializing in electronics, and finally retired from ASI Robotics.
He is survived by his son Lee Williams (Carol) and his daughter Dena Williams, his brothers William Cash (Sharon) and Dale Yarbrough (Carol), his grandchildren David Lugo and Susan "Nikki" Lugo-Floro (Ian), and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death earlier this year by his wife of 67 years, Agnes "Joyce" (Day) Williams, his parents and sisters Debra Lenderman and Joni Durham.
Visitation will be held at the Market Street Chapel of the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes on Friday, December 27th from 12 PM - 3 PM with funeral service to start at 3 PM. Inurnment with his wife at New Albany National Cemetery with military honors will take place at a future date.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations in Jack's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
