Joseph L. Yeiser
Joseph L. Yeiser, 94, passed away Wednesday at Clark Memorial Hospital. He served in WWII, in Normandy and Northern France, with the Army and later served with the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of many organizations throughout his years: Lions Club (past President), Greater Louisville Claims Association (past President) American Legion Post #28, V.F.W. Post #1693 (Hobart Beach Post) and St. Mark's UCC (past President of church council). He retired as a Claims Specialist with State Farm Insurance.
Joseph is survived by his two sons, Charles J. Yeiser and Thomas F. Yeiser (Elizabeth Brown) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace; parents, Fred M. and M. Ophelia Yeiser; sister, Margaret Zimmerman.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, 1 PM - 2 PM at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E. Market Street), with funeral service following at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Mark's UCC, Lions Club or Leader Dogs for the Blind.
