Underwood, Indiana - Joyce Ann Linne, 88, of Underwood, IN, passed away at 4:36 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Born May 5, 1931 in Borden, IN, she was the daughter of Luther Taylor (January 5, 1942) and Etta Alice (Brocklehurst) Taylor (August 7, 1978).

On November 6, 1971, in Jeffersonville, IN, she married Phillip E. Linne, who preceded her in death on November 3, 2003.

Joyce attended Mt Moriah Advent Christian Church and attended church with her family. Joyce was a homemaker, was known for her good cooking, loved having her family for Sunday dinners, enjoyed gardening, and canning.

Survivors include, 4 children, Ellen Smith of Henryville, IN, Alice Irene (Michael) McKinstry of Clarksville, IN, Marlene K. Shuping of Underwood, IN, Debbie (Elmer) Linne of Underwood, IN, Phillip Allen (Mary) Linne, of Henryville, IN, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, Luther "Banjo" Taylor (October 22, 2004), and brother, Thomas Nathan Taylor (May 12,1979).

Pastor Leon Armstrong will conduct funeral services at Noon on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, burial to follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, August 5, 2019 and after 11:00 AM on Wednesday, all at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville.
