Jeffersonville, IN - Judith E. Atkins, 82, of Jeffersonville passed away on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in New Albany, Indiana to the late Marshall and Oda B. (Willis) Atkins. Judith has received loving care for almost 20 years from Volunteers of America and was a volunteer herself for the Head Start Program. Judith loved children and animals and was a Christian having attended Northside Christian Church in New Albany and Southeast and Eastside Christan Churches in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Judith loved listening to gospel music enjoyed cross stitching as a hobby.

She is survived by her sister Susan (Skip) Burgess and her niece Katherine Burgess.

Visitation will be from 10 AM - 1 PM Monday at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany, IN).

Her funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025 in the Oak Street Chapel.

She will be entombed next to her parents at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
