Jeffersonville, Indiana - Katherine M. Bell, 85, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Charlestown Place. Born on November 22, 1939, in Hollywood, Florida, Katherine was the beloved daughter of the late Lane and Elizabeth Morris.

Katherine was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She found joy in friendly competition, often gathering with friends and family for spirited games of Bridge and Euchre.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Edward Bell; her parents, Lane and Elizabeth Morris; and her sister, Susan Fitzpatrick.

Katherine is survived by her loving son, Joseph Bell (Barbara) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her sister, Rebecca Denton of Frankfort, Kentucky; and her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Bell and Haley Morgan. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart: Julie Brooks (Jeff), Scheri Ziegler, Kelly Ziegler, Lane Ziegler (Marcella), Timothy Denton, Scott Denton (Julie), and John Ziegler (Jackie).

Following Katherine's wishes, cremation has been chosen. Those who knew and loved Katherine are invited to celebrate her life in a way that is meaningful to them.
