Jeffersonville, Indiana - Kathleen Marie Dierking, 98, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 26, 1928, she was the cherished daughter of the late Andrew and Lena Kramer.

A woman of deep faith, Kathleen was a dedicated member of the Catholic Community of Jeffersonville. She was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in more recent years. Kathleen's greatest joy in life was her family, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. In her quiet moments, she loved working on puzzles and found great peace and enjoyment in gardening.

Kathleen's legacy of love lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Dierking of Jeffersonville, IN; three sons, Michael Dierking (Lynn) of Sellersburg, IN, David Dierking (Diane) of Lake Orion, MI, and Dennis Dierking (Tabathia) of Jeffersonville, IN; and her step-daughter, Barbara McDowell (Larry) of Plainfield, IN. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Conn; her grandchildren, Christopher Dierking (Rebecca), Scotty Dierking (Hope), Timothy Dierking (Macy), Hannah Dierking, Isabel Dierking, Taylor Dierking, and Zach Dierking; her step-grandchildren, Ethan McDowell (Sheila) and Evan McDowell; as well as three beloved great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dierking; her parents, Andrew and Lena Kramer; her brother, Jack Kramer; her sister, Anna Mary Freund; two infant brothers; and her step-granddaughter, Erika Hamilton.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
