Kathy Jo (Baker) Elder, 61 years of age died Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Baptist Health in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born February 27, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana to Raymond Lee and Marjorie (Jamison) Baker.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Jesse L. Elder; three children, Jesse L. Elder Jr., Stacy A. Elder and Chris S. Elder (Misty); six grandchildren, Anthony, Jasmine, Shane, Josh, Destiny and Darrell; three great-grandchildren, Aidenn, Brycen, and Valor; her mother, Marjorie (Jamison) Baker; and five siblings, Raymond Baker Jr. (Patsy), Linda Rager (Tony), Trudy Hubler (Dale), Rebecca Leunhart (Rick) and Natalie Nolan (Kevin); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday February 24, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the Kraft Spring Street Chapel. Cremation to follow.
