Lenora  Kepfer
Lenora Kepfer, 94, long time resident of Clarksville, IN was called home to the Lord on November 12, 2019
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to all she knew. She was retired from Indiana University Southeast where she managed the bookstore for several years. During her retirement she was a volunteer at Clark Memorial Hospital where she accumulated over 1500 hours of volunteer work. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She excelled in sewing, knitting, quilting and all types of needle work. She also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Most of all she liked to travel. Her travels took her to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy and many places in the Caribbean.
She is survived by her daughter, Nanette Monhaut (Don) of Granger, IN ; her son Larry Kepfer (Carol) of McCalla, AL; granddaughters Renae Clark (Dale) and Lisa Mueller (Greg); grandsons Quentin Kepfer (Lori) and Brad Monhaut (Katie); two step grandsons Jason Burns and Stephen Burns (Lisa); 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister Irene Elliott; and her special friend Del Livermore.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Duane Kepfer and her step-brother William Graham.
A celebration of her life will be held at the First Christian Church, 3209 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN on November 23, 2019. The family will receive visitors starting at 10 a.m. with the memorial service beginning at 11. a.m. Interment will be at Walnut Ridge Cemetery where there will be a private ceremony for the family.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caregivers who professionally and compassionately cared for her.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the First Christian Church.
