Leoma B. Harris, 100, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Born on April 12, 1924 in Russellville, KY to the late Thomas and Opal Estes, Leoma lived a life dedicated to her faith, her family, and helping others. For many years Leoma worked as a forklift driver at Colgate Plant, Clarksville.

A devout Christian, she was a member of Christian Family Worship Center God's Church. Her unwavering faith was evident in her final words, "God is good, all the time." Leoma was known for her compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Tines and Daniel Harris; her parents; her brothers, Rev. Grafton D. Estes Sr. and Shirley Estes; and several nieces and nephews.

Leoma leaves behind a loving family, including her nieces, Doreen Estes of Clarksville, Faye Cooke of New Albany and Phyllis Estes of Jeffersonville; nephews, Grafton Dale Estes Jr. (Melissa) of Clarksville, Shirley Ray Estes of Jeffersonville, Larry Estes (Jeanie) of Jeffersonville, Norman Estes (Susie) of Jeffersonville, Ralph Estes (Debbie) of Jeffersonville, and Clyde Estes (Tanya) of Charlestown; her good friend, Loretta Seals (Eugene) of Marysville; her step-daughter, Angela Justice (Bob) of Borden; and her step-granddaughter, Christian McGloshen (Scott).

A funeral service celebrating Leoma's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 19 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
