Sellersburg, Indiana - Linda Sue Noel, 82, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 27, 2026, surrounded by the family she so dearly loved.

Born on February 9, 1944, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Linda was the daughter of the late Charles K. Kennedy and Ruth L. Cillian. She grew into a woman of profound kindness and steadfast faith.

Linda's greatest legacy is her 60-year marriage to her devoted husband, Paul Noel. Together, they navigated life's many chapters with a bond that served as an inspiration to everyone who knew them. Their commitment to one another was the cornerstone of their family.

A vital member of Grace Lutheran Church, Linda didn't just practice her faith; she lived it. She was an active soul in her church community and found deep fulfillment through her involvement in Bible study, where she shared her love for the Word with her church family.

When she wasn't serving her church, Linda found peace in the quiet joys of nature. She was an avid gardener and took great delight in feeding the birds that visited her yard. Her hands were rarely still, as she also spent countless hours crocheting blankets that will remain as warm reminders of her love for years to come.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Paul Noel; her three children, Paula Jackson (Gary) of New Albany, IN, Darren Noel (Amy) of La Plata, MD, and Kevin Noel (Jhessa) of New Albany, IN; and her sister, Theresa Lee (John) of Jeffersonville, IN.

Her spirit lives on through her four grandchildren: Brian, Kelli, Derek, and Ivie; and her four great-grandchildren: Ivy, Daniel, Jaxson, and Christy.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church (1787 Klerner Ln, New Albany, IN 47150) with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
