Clarksville, Indiana - Loretta M. (Neidiffer) Johnson, age 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at Westminster Village Kentuckiana. She was born in Salem, Indiana to the late Herman and Clara (Trueblood) Neidiffer. After high school she married her next door boyfriend, Bob Johnson. Together they had three children. Loretta was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a homemaker, the bookkeeper for her husband's business and a long-time member of Culbertson Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons Gary Johnson (Becky) and Daniel Johnson (Diane); her daughter Lisa Peters (Larry); her grandchildren, Chris Johnson (Jennifer), Adam Johnson (Sara), and Ben Johnson (Emily); her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Samantha, Brayden, Stella, Leia, Grace, and her great-great-grandson, Titus.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Johnson, grandson Jeffrey Johnson, brothers, Gene and Irvin and her sisters Mildred, Margaret, and Carolyn.
The family would like to thank the staff at Westminster Village Kentuckiana for the loving care and support extended to Loretta for the last six years through various levels of care.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes, 1119 East Market Street in New Albany.
A celebration of Loretta's life will be held at 11 AM Monday at Culbertson Baptist Church (4007 Grantline Rd. New Albany, IN). Visitation at church will begin at 10 AM until the time of service.
Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany,
