Jeffersonville, Indiana - Loretta Ann Osborne, 94, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on March 25, 2024 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on July 18, 1929 in Sellersburg, daughter of Frank and Clara (Ehringer) Popp.

Having retired from her dedicated service at the Clark County Assessor Office, she leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and commitment. She was a charter member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Loretta found solace and strength in her faith and community involvement.

Loretta's passion for art and serene moments by the beach illuminated her life with joy and tranquility. Yet above all, her heart belonged to her loving family. She cherished every moment spent with them and they brought her special memories and good times. Her kindness, warmth and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Osborne; son, Mike Osborne; son-in-law, Jimmy Boone; five siblings, Martha Weinmann, Walt Popp, Gene Popp, Helen Swank and Aline Smith.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Dinah Smith (Sam), Laura Boone, and Julie Holst; sisters, Carolyn Makowsky, and Patty Millman (Mike); daughter-in-law, Susan Osborne; along with 13 grandchildren, Michael Osborne (Samantha), Aimee Buck (Derek), Phillip Smith (Jerilyn), Rachel Plowman (Josh), Madeline Brutscher, Brian Scroggins (Jenny), Matt Boone (Stephanie), Leah Nett (Matt), Emily Kelly (Phil), Mark Holst, Kyle Holst (Melissa), Megan Holst, Klara Holst; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 1, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Center with Catholic Mass to follow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1840 E. 8th St, Jeffersonville. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
