New Albany, Indiana - Mary Sullivan, age 75, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on September 29, 2025. She was surrounded by love and is now at rest. Cremation was chosen, and Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

Born on June 17, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Book) Peters. She spent her career as an administrative assistant in the construction industry and was a faithful member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg.

Mary's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She was kind and loving, with a warm wit and a deep well of wisdom. Her unselfish spirit and generous heart touched many lives; truly she was an angel among us.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Robert "Bob" Sullivan; her two sons, Craig (Travis) Sullivan and Scott (Amber) Sullivan; her step-grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Hudson and Rachel (Adam) Mabry; two great-grandchildren, Osiris and Cooper; and her brothers, Bill Peters and Bob (Susie) Peters.

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 2253 W. St. Joe Road, Sellersburg, Indiana.

In honor of Mary's compassionate nature, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
