Dr. Marylee M James passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2025. She is predeceased by her parents, Rev. John and Veralee Massey and brothers Junior and William D. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Marylee loved to learn and to teach. In her 40s she left her nursing career to pursue an undergraduate degree at Furman University, a Doctorate of Philosophy at Boston University and an MS in Theology in Pietermaritzburg, SA.
A memorial service will be scheduled in late May. If you would like to make a donation in her honor, please consider her beloved Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, 321 E Market St, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
