New Albany, Indiana - Michael E. Jarboe, 69, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025 at his home in Houston, TX. He was born in New Albany to the late Mary Kathryn and Ernest Jarboe. Mike was a graduate of Providence High School where he was a proud member of the 1973 State Runner-Up Football team. He went on to graduate from Purdue University with his BS degree in Industrial Engineering, his MBA in Operations Management from Florida Atlantic University and his Masters degree in Project Management from George Washington University. In his spare time, Mike was very active with Junior Achievement. Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister Marsha Sanders and his infant sister Mary Sue Jarboe.

Mike is survived by his brother David Jarboe and his wife Marilyn; his nieces Diane Tinius (John), Donna Kimmel (Frank), Debra Reas (Terry), his nephew Steve Jarboe, and six great -nieces and nephews and six great- great-nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) at 1 PM on Saturday November 29, 2025 with burial in Derby Cemetery in Perry County, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11 AM - 1 PM on Saturday before the service.

Memorial contributions may be given in Mike's memory to Providence High School.
