Floyds Knobs, Indiana - A native of the "Sooner" State of Oklahoma. Michael Pat Kelly was born in Oklahoma City on February 3rd, 1962.

Michael spent a good portion of his youth, raised in Las Vegas, NV. From there, he moved to Indiana and after completing his college training, went on to establish an Information Technology career, in New York, for IBM. Later, Michael made the move back to Indiana for work and to raise a family. A devoted Christian. Michael's faith in the Lord was strong and true. He was grateful for each day and approached his life, with a happy heart.

Unflappable. Michaels "let the chips fall where they may.." philosophy, was a testament to his easy spirit and also his determination to come up with solutions, for any roadblocks that may have come his way.

Highly intelligent, with a quick wit, Michael embraced new ideas and hobbies, frequently. From: Karate, baseball, Riding motorcycles and playing golf, to gardening or sharpening knives, Michael didn't shy away from learning new things. He was 'all in' on anything new, he became fascinated with.

A phenomenal cook, Michael made the best recipes and loved to share, with everyone. He especially enjoyed using the smoker and grill. Brisket was the specialty of the day and he had mastered it, to perfection.

A devoted Husband, a loving father, a loyal friend and a respected colleague, in his professional life, Michael truly was a joyful, faithful, giving, good soul. His life, was a life well lived.

Michael Pat Kelly went home to Heaven on, Holy Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Michael was predeceased by his parents. Bobby Pat Kelly and Melvia Jacquline Kelly, as well as a sister Kay Kelly Cook.

Michael is survived by his wife of nearly 23 years, Sandra Summers Kelly.

His four sons, Patrick, Andrew, Bryan and Keven Kelly.

A Step-Daughter, Allison Walker and two grandchildren. Brayden Kelly and Ava Case.

Michael is also survived by his brother Christopher Kelly (Renata) and his sister Caroline Weatherly (George) as well as many nieces and nephews and his very special and beloved Canine 'Daughter' his English Bulldog, Mercedes.

Visitation for Michael will be at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday Morning from 10:00 AM until 12 noon.

Funeral Service will be at 12 noon on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery, Laconia, In.
