Jeffersonville, Indiana - n Memoriam: Micheline Colette (Bouchard) Coats.

Colette's departure on November 19 leaves behind a profound void in our hearts. Her 75 years among us were a testament to love, fortitude, and boundless compassion.

As a guiding light and cherished matriarch, Colette's presence transcended generations. Her nurturing soul infused our home with laughter, her recipes, and a comforting embrace that wove the family together in warmth.

Facing life's trials with unwavering grace, Colette's strength was matched only by her ability to connect deeply with everyone. Her wisdom, stories, and simple gestures resonated with all fortunate enough to know her.

As we bid farewell, our hearts find solace in the eternity of her spirit, surrounded by the love she gifted so generously.

Colette is preceded by her parents, Reggie and Georges Bouchard.

Colette is survived by the love of her life for 54 years, Keith; their three children, Michelle (Doug), Danielle (Greg), Philippe (Danielle); her daughter, Michelle Bonner; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lise and Ginette; her brother, Jacques; and her best friend of 63 years, Janice Swarens (Allen).

May she rest in eternal peace, her legacy a guiding light for generations to come.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
