Miranda was my sculpture teacher, but she was also an artist and a very kind human being. She had a charisma that lit up the room and put smiles on everyone’s faces. I remember the times when I kept to myself and she went out of her way to talk to me and bring me out of my bubble. She had such a care and love for the world and her students and she showed that even during her most difficult times. You’ll be missed by all of us Miranda.

During Miranda's time at Bellarmine she became very dear to her students and colleagues. She was tremendously talented as an artists and educator - a treasure and a joy to work with. Our deepest condolences to Philip and her friends and family.

I can still see you in my mind dancing at the waterfront. You were so free. I hope you are dancing in heaven now.

Miranda touched my life briefly but in a way I will never forget. Her smile was infectious and she was so positive and encouraging. I am so sorry to her family for your loss. ❤️

I was Miranda’s art teacher at Bridgepoint Elem. School. Miranda always had that special spark and drive when she stepped into my classroom. Her talents in art were noticeable at a very young age. She blossomed into a creative and beautiful lady, and I was lucky to connect with her again, when she and I became involved in the Jeffersonville Art Alliance and several workshops in 2012-2015. I will miss her greatly and was honored to have known Miranda.

I am heartbroken to know she has left us behind. I know she fought so hard through it all. Her husband was always her guardian angel. I took care of her so many times on 6 South. She will be dearly missed. I am thinking about her and her family often.
