Nancy Lynn Razor Brock was born on March 8, 1952, in Corydon, Indiana. She passed away on December 20, 2024, in Georgetown, Indiana, leaving behind an indelible legacy of love, dedication, and service. A beloved teacher for over 20 years, Nancy was a pillar of the community and a beacon of light to her students. She taught at various schools, including Corydon Central High School, Scribner, and Southern High School, where she positively impacted countless lives.
In addition to her role as an educator, Nancy served her community through her involvement in the Tunnel Hill Christian Church. She held numerous positions, including deacon, bible school director, bible school teacher, Sunday school teacher, and special needs dance volunteer, and social committee chairperson. Her faith and commitment to service were evident in all aspects of her life, including her tenure as Area 2 leader, core director, and working day camp with the Girl Scouts. Her contributions were recognized when she was awarded the Daisy Award and the Pillar of Support Award. Nancy also leaves behind a legacy of love and family, having touched the hearts of many with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband David Jr., her parents William and Anna Razor. Nancy is survived by her daughters Nancy Lyn Gaines, Melisa Bays, Denise Brock, and Kimberly Moon (Josh), her siblings Steve Razor, Helen Wolfe (Norman), Janet Brandon (Kenny), and her grandchildren Garrett and Bryce Moon, Jaci Gaines and Kenneth Gaines, Shelby Rae Bays, Nicholas Brock, LJ Lemmel, Case Southerland, and great-grandchildren Serenity LaFerriere, Caleb and Lydia Gaines, and Ava Mellow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST and Friday, December 27, 2024, at 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM EST at the same location.
