Paul D. Scholl, a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on July 26, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1962, at Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN to David Fredrick and Carol (Montgomery) Scholl.

Paul was a dedicated job superintendent for construction, known for his meticulous work and unwavering commitment. He graduated from Henryville High School in the Class of 1980 and went on to build a fulfilling career, balancing hard work with a rich life outside of his profession.

Paul found joy in many pursuits. His passion for woodworking was evident in the many projects he crafted with love. He delighted in fishing and cooking, even compiling a cherished family cookbook with his favorite recipes. Whether he was panning for gold, camping under the stars, or embarking on adventures on the road, Paul embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Dutsadee Scholl, whom he married on December 21, 2013, in Reno, Nevada. Paul's legacy continues through his daughters, Nissi (Bret Stuart) Scholl of Bellevue, NE, and Megan Scholl of Memphis. He was also a proud grandfather to Dennis Douglas Stuart. His memory will be cherished by his mother, Carol Scholl of Henryville; his brothers, David (Pam Shelton) Scholl of Henryville and Dwight E. (Heather) Scholl of Jeffersonville.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, David Frederick Scholl, and two grandsons, Klayton Paul and Kenton Brooks Bowling.

Cremation has been entrusted to Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville.

A service to honor Paul's life will be led by Robin Embry on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the service.
