It is with heavy, yet grateful, hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Richard Smith, a beloved husband, father, and friend who passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 25, 2025, at the age of 85. Born to parents Kenneth and Elnora Smith on July 4, 1939, in New Albany, Indiana, Paul spent his life building a career in the corrugated packaging industry that reflected his commitment to providing for his family. His impact, though understated, remains with those who knew him. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Sandra, daughters Pamela Traina and Carrie Thompson, son Brian Thompson, granddaughters Miranda (Dan) Quintana and Rebecca (Steve) Liaromatis, and 5 great-grandchildren.
