Paula Lou Tungate, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at her home in Sebring, FL on January 4, 2023 at the age of 78.

Paula was born to Inez and Paul Maymon on February 6, 1944. She grew up in Charlestown, IN where she met the love of her life, Dr. Freddie L. Tungate. Paula graduated Charlestown High School in 1961 and later became a supervisor for The Census Bureau. She loved life, playing golf and spending time with her family. She is known for her beautiful smile and radiant purple hair.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Diane Pacey (AW) and Teresa.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie; her daughters, Tracy Kost and Rebecca Keith; her grandchildren, Katelyn Evans (Brian), Rachel Keith, Ryan Keith; her great-grandchildren, Camden Evans and Caleb Evans; her sisters, Judy Ferry (Gary), Vicky Caudill (Carl Jr.), Cathy Sheehan and her brothers, Paul Maymon Jr. (Kathy Jo) and Doug Maymon (Tammy).

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 at American Legion Post, 1199 Basham Dr., Charlestown.
