Jeffersonville, IN - Robert Clark Farley, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away 2:55 p.m. on June 14, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on January 4, 1942, in Paoli, Indiana, to the late Everett Clark Farley and Irene Apple Farley. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Robert served honorably during the Vietnam War in the 1st Infantry Division / "The Big Red One". He later retired from American Standard in Louisville, Kentucky, after many years of dedicated work.
Robert was a longtime member of Colgate Baptist Church in Clarksville, Indiana, where his faith was a guiding part of his life. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family.
In November 1971, Robert married the love of his life, who survives, Brenda C. Farley, with whom he shared over five decades of love and devotion. He is survived by his son, Robert Dean Farley (Michelle) of Sellersburg; and his beloved grandchildren, Robert Dean Farley II, Amber Rae Farley, and Sera Rene' Farley, all of Clarksville; a great-granddaughter, Layla Rose Kaelin of Marysville. He is also survived by his siblings, James Michael Farley and George Farley, both of Indianapolis, and Teresa Hatfield of Lake Wales, Florida.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Colgate Baptist Church, 125 Montgomery Ave., Clarksville, Indiana. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 Msh N Lane, Madison, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 W. Harrison Ave. Clarksville, IN.
