Georgetown, IN - Robert "Bobby" Orlando Love, age 93, of Georgetown, IN passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025.

Born on May 28, 1931 in Jeffersonville to Stoy and Bonnie (Moore) Love, Bobby graduated from Georgetown High School in 1948. On August 4, 1950, he married Emma Jane, and together they shared a lifetime of love and memories in Georgetown, IN. Bobby worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Rohm and Haas Company in Louisville, KY, where he dedicated many years of his life to his work.

Bobby was an active and devoted member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown. He loved the simple joys of life, from solving crossword puzzles and watching Floyd Central and IU basketball games, to spending time fishing, playing cards, mowing his lawn, and, most of all, being with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stoy and Bonnie Love, his beloved wife, Emma Jane Love, two sons, Michael Love and Kevin Love, his grandson, Greg Love; and the Love twins.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Norma Bierod; brother, Donnie Love; son, Max Love; daughter, Kelly (Steve) Love-Walker; grandchildren, Jesse (Victoria) Love, Mike Love, Wyatt (Allison) Love, Kaelin (Meagan) Love, Melissa (Barry) Nix, Stevie Walker, and Brooke Love; as well as 14 great-grandchildren who brought him great joy in his later years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 2 to 8 p.m., and again on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 9 to 11 a.m.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Love Funeral Home, with burial following at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, IN.

Bobby always shared a piece of wisdom with his family and friends: "I want all of you to be good eggs. Never lie, cheat, or steal, and remember Jesus." These words will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
