Robin Diane Couch, 58, of Henryville, IN, passed away at 3:37 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Robin was born on Saturday, September 30, 1961, in Shelbyville, KY. She was raised in Jeffersonville, IN and was a 1979 Jeffersonville High School graduate.

On Saturday, April 26, 1980, Robin married her high school sweetheart, Dale Couch, who survives in Henryville, IN.

Robin always enjoyed working. In high school, she started working at Clapp Oldsmobile, then she started selling ads for the Sellersburg Star newspaper. After that, Robin wanted to stay at home and raise her only child, Rebecca, and babysit her nieces and nephews. She was the best wife and mom. In 1990 she started working for the US Census Bureau where she was currently employed and she loved it there. While going through her breast cancer treatments, she was given over 190 hours from her fellow co-workers to use during her illness.

Robin loved life, was a funny natured person and has always shown motherly instincts to everyone she came to know, always caring for others by being selfless. She loved going to yard sales, thrift stores, and goodwill. She would then share the new treasures she found with all of her family and friends. Robin was an avid reader, loved animals, enjoyed racing go-carts, taking car rides in her red convertible, playing bingo, and going bowling. She would always drive fast because she was always running late to wherever she was going. Most of all, Robin loved being with family, hosting family gatherings, and holidays at her home. She was the ultimate grandma to her only grandchild, Brody.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Couch; daughter, Rebecca Couch; mother and stepdad, Judy (Wood) and Don Gore; grandson, Brody Couch; siblings, Kevin Broughton, Steve (Crystal) Broughton, Scott Gore, Tony Gore, and LeAnn Gore.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Joseph Broughton.

Private funeral services will be conducted by T.C. Baker at Noon on Monday, April 20, 2020, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with a private burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN. The funeral and burial will be live-streamed at Adams Funeral Home Henryville Facebook page.
