Roger Lee Campbell Obituary

Jeffersonville, Indiana - Roger Lee Campbell, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 27, 2026. Born on March 3, 1945, in Jenkins, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jasper and Ora Campbell.

A proud veteran, Roger served honorably in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he went on to graduate from the University of Louisville in 1972 and built a successful career as an agent for Mutual of Omaha Insurance.

Roger was a man of many talents and passions who embraced life to the fullest. He earned his pilot's license and loved taking to the skies. He was also a gifted artist who enjoyed painting beautiful nature scenes and appreciating the artwork of others. An avid outdoorsman, he spent much of his free time camping at numerous state parks, with the autumn colors of Brown County always remaining his favorite destination. A devoted music lover and a passionate sports fan, Roger could always be found cheering on his beloved U of L Cardinals.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Carolyn Campbell, and his brothers, Johnny Campbell and Larry Campbell.

Roger is now reunited in peace with his beloved son, Travis Campbell; his parents, Jasper and Ora; his siblings, Jimmy Campbell, Norma Wright, Sally Glover, Richard Campbell, Roy Campbell, Sue Sparks, and Faye Howard; and his brother-in-law, Carl Goldman Jr., all of whom preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home.
