Ruth Ann Hoskins, 75, of Henryville, IN, passed away at 11:51 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN.

Born February 1, 1944 in Columbia, KY, she was the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Parnell) Murrell, who are both deceased.

Ruth graduated from Adair County High School, Lindsey Wilson College with an Associate Degree and from University of Kentucky with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She retired from co-owning Austin Hardware & Lumber in Austin, IN and was member of Safe Harbor Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Janna K. (Mark) Furnish of Henryville, IN; one son, Bryan D. (Kelly) Coomer of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Avery Furnish, Kendall Furnish, Sydney Coomer, and Riley Coomer.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Gene Murrell and one sister, Janet Hayes.

Funeral services for Ruth will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Henryville with cremation to follow the funeral service and the entombment of cremains will be placed in the columbarium at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday all at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
