New Albany, Indiana - Sara E Stewart passed on July 10, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on July 18, 1937 to the late Jouette and Grace McIntyre, Sara spent her life in New Albany, Indiana.

Sara worked at Kelley Dental Lab for many years and was a member of the New Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church. She also owned and operated Sara's Car Wash & Detailing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, liked to have fun, and appreciated the simple pleasures of everyday life.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Lieber (David); Grandson, Seth Lieber (Rebecca); Two Great-Grandchildren, Evelyn and Callum Lieber; and many nieces and a nephew.

In addition to her parents, Sara is preceded in death by her husband, William Stewart.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at New Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1101 Silver Street, New Albany, IN. A memorial service celebrating her life will follow at 4:00 p.m.
