Shelia R. Cooper, 66, of Memphis, IN, passed away at 8:43 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Clark Memorial Health in Jeffersonville, IN.

Shelia was born on Saturday, May 28, 1955, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. She is the daughter of Lonnie Cooper Jr. who preceded her in death and Gladys R. (Wissel) Cooper who survives in Memphis, IN.

Sheila was a 1974 Silver Creek High School graduate. She was previously employed at Menards as a cashier and lastly at B. & J. Trucking Services Inc. as a dispatcher.

She enjoyed reading books, watching television, babysitting, and hanging out with her nieces and nephews.

Other survivors include her siblings, Sally Peters of Memphis, IN, Gary (Liz) Cooper of Henryville, IN, and Melissa Cooper of Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ralph Peters, three nieces, Jacquelyn and Kathleen Gillespie, and Connie Mull.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville, with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, and 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Henryville.
