Steve O. Schleicher, 78, of Borden, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born March 22, 1946, he was the son of the late Caldwell and Lucille Schleicher. On April 26, 1969, he married Judith A. Schleicher, who survives.

Steve earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Purdue University and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. He was a mechanical engineer with Aramco with 20 years of service. He loved his hats.

Steve is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judith; his children, Stephen C. Schleicher (Kendra) and Corrie E. Pennington (Steve); his sister, Merlyn H. Schleicher (Joann); two brothers, John K. Schleicher and Mark W. Schleicher; six grandchildren, Anthony Schleicher, Abigail Schleicher, Jonathan Schleicher, Avery Schleicher, Shelby Pennington and Cooper Pennington; two great-grandchildren, Aria Schleicher and Tobias Schleicher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grands.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Caldwell and Lucille, and a brother, Michael C. Schleicher.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
