Susan "Sue" Marie ZurSchmiede Obituary
New Albany, Indiana - Sue, formerly of New Albany, IN, passed away in Okatie, SC. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Stacia ZurSchmiede and was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Gardner and her brother John ZurSchmiede, Jr. She is survived by her wife, Lynn Black and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Sue graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in 1959, Providence High School in 1963 and Spalding College (now University) in 1967. She then worked as a MedTech at Clark County Hospital for 18+ years before moving to SC.
Celebration of Life Mass: 11 AM Saturday July 18, 2026: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Reception will follow.
