Carolyn S. "Susie" Doup, 79, of Henryville, IN, passed away at 10:52 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Clark Memorial Health.

Born October 26, 1939 in Connersville, IN, she was the daughter of Robert Harold Rowland and Myrtle Pauline (Brown) Rowland.

Susie was a 1958 Jeffersonville High School graduate.

On June 1, 1958 at the Henryville Community Presbyterian Church, she married Gerald William "Tim" Doup, who survives in Henryville, IN.

Susie worked at Winn Dixie as a meat wrapper and at Adams IGA as a produce manager in Sellersburg & Henryville. While in high school she was Candy Striper volunteer at Clark Memorial.

She as a very active member of Henryville Community Presbyterian Church, enjoyed being involved with the Presbyterian Women's Association and played in the bell choir. She loved yard work, planting flowers, her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Other survivors include, 2 daughters, Debbie (Rick) Belcher and Kim (Ty) Guthrie, both of Henryville, IN, 5 grandchildren, Kristin (Adam) Kleinert of Henryville, IN, Cole (Ashley) Belcher of Henryville, IN, Case (Renee) Belcher of New Albany, IN, Whitney (Aaron) Shacklette of Henryville, IN, and Morgan Guthrie of Henryville, IN, 10.5 great grandchildren, Sydney Kleinert, Eli Kleinert, Molly Kleinert, Brahm Kleinert, Abel Belcher, Ryder Belcher, Silas Belcher, Maverick Belcher, Allie Shacklette, Aspyn Shacklette, and baby Belcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Harold "Bud" Rowland.

Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Cindy Cushman at 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Henryville Community Presbyterian Church with visitation from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the church.
