New Albany, Indiana - Terence T. "Terry" Lancaster, 80, passed away Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. He was born in New Albany to the late Muriel and Thomas "Tommy" Lancaster. Terry was a restauranteur having been associated with the Lancaster Restaurants family business and founding and owning several Arby's restaurants. He was a Past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, and Past President of the VFW Men's Auxiliary. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and he belonged to the Redmen Tribe #276, was an honorary captain of the Belle of Louisville, was an avid IU Fan, he loved playing cards and caring for his fish pond. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Kathy Lancaster, his brothers: Mike and Pat Lancaster, and his brother-in-law: Mike Kapfhammer.

Terry is survived by his wife of 29 years: Rosie Lancaster, his sons: Marcus and Eric Lancaster, his sister: Eva Sue Kapfhammer, his step-daughter: Dana Clark(Tom) and his step-granddaughter: Leah Clark.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Wednesday June 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church(1752 Scheller Ln. ) with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) from 2 - 7 PM Tuesday June 9, 2026.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or Our Lady of Providence High School.
