Thelma Edith Hall, 83, of Underwood, IN, passed away at 5:40 AM on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Providence Nursing Home in New Albany, IN. Thelma was born on Saturday, December 12, 1936, in Wise County, VA. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Florence (Brown)Roberts, who are both deceased. Thelma was a homemaker, worked at the Clark County Forestry planting trees and also worked as a greeter at Walmart in Scottsburg. She was a member of the former United Methodist Church in Underwood, IN. Thelma loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening was an avid reader, especially interested in getting her fortune read, astronomy, fortune telling, palm reading, tarot cards, and was very generous. On Friday, January 29,1954, she married Forest "Junie" Hall, who passed away on February 12, 2018. Other survivors include 3 children, Mike (Linda) Hall of Louisville, KY, John Alan (Lovette) Hall of Underwood, IN, and Cari Beth (Ron) Jackson of Henryville, IN, 12 grandchildren, AmberHall, Brandon Hall, Josh Hall, Brandon (Julie) Conrad, Stewart Rust, Chris (Lauren)Rust, Levi (Amanda) Hall, Yulanda (Christopher) Bruck, Dustin (Emily) Hall, Brittany (Caleb) Cornwell, Courtney Jackson, and Seth Jackson,15 greatgrandchildren, 2 sisters, Ada (Charlie) Goode of Winter Haven, FL and Refa Jo(Donnie) Rose of Underwood, IN, and 1 brother, Gary Roberts of Underwood, IN. She was also preceded in death by, 1 great-granddaughter, Allie Marie Hall, brothers, Arnold Roberts, RaleighRoberts, Chet Roberts, Ben Roberts, and Jerry Roberts. Private funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville. Funeral Services will be live-streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page. Graveside services will be open to the public at Clark's Chapel Cemetery in Underwood, IN. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, CDC recommendations, State and Local government mandates visitation for family and friends are open to the public-25 visitors are allowed in the funeral home at a time. Visitation is from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville. The family requests expressions of sympathy may be given to Clark's Chapel Cemetery c/o Adams Family FuneralHome and Crematory, 209 S. Ferguson St., Henryville, IN 47126.
