New Albany, Indiana - Mr. Thomas Howard Maitland of New Albany, Indiana returned to his Heavenly Father on September 13, 2022 at Providence Rehabilitation. He was born in Belvidere, Illinois on September 24, 1950 to the late Leroy and Margaret Maitland.

Tom was a Baptist. He was a truck driver for over 45 years. He was a wonderful husband who loved his wife, dog and music. Tom had an amazing sense of humor and loved to tell jokes.

Preceding Tom in death are his parents and his sister, Carolyn Davis. Left to cherish precious memories of Tom are his wife of 22 years, Norma Maitland; siblings, Warren (Connie) Maitland, Roy (Pam) Maitland, Beverly Grant and Kevin (Cindy) Maitland/ his aunts, Madeline Bates and Jen Strickland and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 12pm - 4pm with his service beginning at 4pm at Spring Valley Funeral Home of New Albany, Indiana.
