Thomas James Newton II, 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital.
He was born on August 12, 1942 to the late Thomas and Clarice Newton in Fort Ringgold, TX. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Civil Service Engineer.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas "Trey" James Newton III (Sheila) of Marysville, and Daniel Newton (Felicia) of Longwood, FL; daughters, Laura Prakash (Japheth) of Henryville, and Grace Newton (Randy Steinberg) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Aaron and Haele Newton, Jacelyn, Jared, and Josiah Prakash; great-granddaughter, Aurora Newton; and brother, William "Bill" Newton of San Antonio, TX.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Faye Newton; parents; sister, Bonnie Dollison.
A private burial service will be held for immediate family the week of October 15, 2024.
