Jeffersonville, Indiana - Thomas Wilcoxson, 77, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away January 22, 2024. He was born December 9, 1946 in Jeffersonville, the son of John Sr. and Frances (Schmidt) Wilcoxson.

Tom graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1964 and was drafted to serve in the United States Army. He served our country faithfully and was proud to be a veteran.

Tom worked as a dispatcher, serving at Whayne Supply Co. for several decades and finishing his career at Champion Trucking Co. He had a passion for softball, bowling, fishing, and playing cards. Tom had many friends in the community, and you could often find him at Tubby's Restaurant or the Eagles Club.

In his later years, Tom lived at The Mansion on Main in New Albany, serving as the unofficial welcoming committee for new residents. The family is so grateful to the staff at The Mansion for their compassionate care for and love of Tom.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Wilcoxson Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Wilcoxson; two sons, Kory Wilcoxson (Amy), and Austin Wilcoxson; a sister, Nancy O'Brien (Michael); a brother, Mark Wilcoxson (Lynn); a sister-in-law, Margie Wilcoxson (Lisa); two grandchildren, Sydney Wilcoxson and Molly Wilcoxson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville.
