Funeral Mass for Virginia L. "Ginny Lou" Walker Dolan, 89, New Albany, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. She died Tuesday, July 15, 2014.. She retired from Monroe Shine and was a long-time active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany. She enjoyed vacationing, painting, and playing both golf and cards. She was an amazing mother and grandmother that never missed a family event or a grandchild's activity. She was born Sept. 2, 1924 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to the late Harry and Mona Brown Walker.. She is survived by her loving children, Robert Dolan and his wife, Carole, Carol Burke and her husband, Steve, Eileen Burrous and her husband, Todd, and Nancy Ferguson and her husband, Gene; 12 grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren with another on the way.. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. "Peachie" Dolan and sister, June Neil.. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 today, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany..
