Clarksville, Indiana - Walter Ettel, 91, of Clarksville, Indiana, son of the late Edward Lewis Ettel and Grace Truman Huffman Ettel Blum, was born April 30, 1934 in Clarksville, Indiana. He died November 3, 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He professed faith in Christ and worshipped at Crossroads Community Church and was a retired electrician maintenance foreman for United Technologies.
He was united in marriage to Virginia Berry June 16, 1952. Beside his wife, Virginia Ettel of Clarksville, Indiana, he is survived by one son and three daughters: Terry Ettel and wife, Donna; Karen Stone and husband, Rick; Barbara "Babs" Hurst and husband, David; and Ginger King and husband, Ray; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Malcolm Ettel and wife, Charlene; in-laws Roy Berry, James Berry and wife, Nelda and Doyle Berry and wife, Joyce.
His graveside service was November 6, 2025 at Harden Cemetery in Elk Horn, Kentucky.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, Kentucky, was in charge of arrangements.
